Paranormal Activity 2 Teaser Trailer

The teaser trailer for Paranormal Activity 2 has been released online. The sequel to the 2009 low-budget hit Paranormal Activity does have a noticeable increase in budget with multiple cameras set up as what looks like security cams. The trailer does seem to have its creepy moments involving a dog, baby, rocking chair and something written backwards in the mirror at the last second of trailer. The phrase says What is happening to Hunter?.

So if you notice anything else weird in the trailer just comment it.

Custom Built Tron Mortorcyles

If you guys are like me and dreamed of having the lightcyles from Tron, well you guys might just be in luck. The guys who made the Batpod replica will now make "street legal" replicas of the very cool Lightcyles.

The Parker Brothers team is building 5 custom one off "Lightcycles" to the exact specs of the movie bikes. Each bike will be black with an accent color - 5 bikes with 5 different accent colors (red, blue, yellow, green, and orange). There will only be one bike made per color so if you must have a certain color, you better call now. This is a first come first serve project so don't delay. Disney designers built a "movie prop" of this bike for the TRON Legacy promotions and not a running version so these will be the only known running versions to exist. The engineering behind a fully functional version is mindboggling to say the least.

The wheels are custom made 22" x12" dual hubless wheels with custom made tires (Hoosier is custom making 5 sets just for us specifically for this project). (Buyers will have the option of additional tires as needed) The frame is 2" cold rolled and boxed hardened steel with carbon fiber/fiberglass bodies. Accent colors are neon glowing from behind frosted plexiglass and can be turned off or on with the flip of a switch.

Each bike will come with either a high powered electric motor or a high performance gasoline motor and transmission depending on the buyers needs.

The "Cyles" are up for auction on Ebay for $35,000 Buy Now or make an offer. You got 2 days.

Hulu Plus Coming to iPhone, Consoles and Internet

Hulu finally announced there long rumored paid service for movies and tv shows. Hulu Plus will have full episodes of tv shows with the same pesky commercials but the different thing is the $9.99/month charge.

The cool thing is Hulu will go to different markets by working on iPhones, iPads, internet enabled tv's, and Blu-ray players, and gaming consoles including PS3 in July and Xbox 360 in 2011.

So will Hulu fans pay $10 a month for movies and tv shows.

What will you guys do?

First Photo from Upcoming film "Priest"

I havent seen anything for this movie in along time going back to March with the on set report by the Canadian version of Entertainment Tonight. The movie has been subject of release date challenges over the last year by moving from date to date and finally settling on May 13, 2011.

I really hope this film is way better than his previous religious film Legion. I really had high hopes for that movie and was let down big time.

This little adorable/weird chameleon is Johnny Depp in the film Rango. I still haven't decided if it live/action Johnny Depp or Animated  you decide.

The film is directed by Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy) and also starring the voices of Isla Fisher, Abigail Breslin, Alfred Molina, Bill Nighy, Ray Winstone, Ned Beatty and Stephen Root.

The film has quite a cast and you can expect the trailer online sometime tomorrow. So check back then.

Back to the Future Trilogy on Blu-ray October 26

Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced that the 25th Anniversary Edition of the Back to the Future will hit Blu-ray on October 26, 2010. That is funny because that is the day that Marty Mcfly goes back in time in the original from 1985.

The film trilogy will be 1080p, with an aspect ratio of 1.85:1. Audio will be 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. The discs will be single-sided BD50s. Also, there will be over 2 hours of new bonus features.

The special features include everything from the ride at Universal Studios, trivia, 16 deleted scenes, documentaries about production, Behind the scenes, making the Delorean into a time machine, and a whole lot more. The best part is that they will ,as far as I can tell, release the long thought after footage of Eric Stoltz as Marty Mcfly. That will make many to all the hardcore fans super happy, me included.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 Trailer

The first trailer for the last chapter in the very popular book series Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 has been released with great music and great scenes. I haven't read the last couple books, but the trailer makes me want to read at least the last book.

The 7th book has been cut into 2 parts with Part 1 getting released on November 19, 2010 and Part 2 getting released on July 15, 2011. The seems like it will take forever for Part 2 to come out.

Official Synopsis

Part 1 begins as Harry, Ron and Hermione set out on their perilous mission to track down and destroy the secret to Voldemort's immortality and destruction—the Horcruxes. On their own, without the guidance of their professors or the protection of Professor Dumbledore, the three friends must now rely on one another more than ever. But there are Dark Forces in their midst that threaten to tear them apart.

Meanwhile, the wizarding world has become a dangerous place for all enemies of the Dark Lord. The long-feared war has begun and Voldemort's Death Eaters seize control of the Ministry of Magic and even Hogwarts, terrorizing and arresting anyone who might oppose them. But the one prize they still seek is the one most valuable to Voldemort: Harry Potter. The Chosen One has become the hunted one as the Death Eaters search for Harry with orders to bring him to Voldemort... alive.

Harry's only hope is to find the Horcruxes before Voldemort finds him. But as he searches for clues, he uncovers an old and almost forgotten tale—the legend of the Deathly Hallows. And if the legend turns out to be true, it could give Voldemort the ultimate power he seeks.

Little does Harry know that his future has already been decided by his past when, on that fateful day, he became "the Boy Who Lived." No longer just a boy, Harry Potter is drawing ever closer to the task for which he has been preparing since the day he first stepped into Hogwarts: the ultimate battle with Voldemort.

Trailer of the Week : The Green Hornet

This movie looks a lot better then when I pictured Seth Rogen doing a fan-favorite comic-book movie like The Green Hornet, I was actually shocked to see it doesn't look bad at all. So check it out.

Britt Reid (Seth Rogen) is the son of LA's most prominent and respected media magnate and perfectly happy to maintain a directionless existence on the party scene – until his father (Tom Wilkinson) mysteriously dies, leaving Britt his vast media empire. Striking an unlikely friendship with one of his father's more industrious and inventive employees, Kato (Jay Chou), they see their chance to do something meaningful for the first time in their lives: fight crime. But in order to do this, they decide to become criminals themselves – protecting the law by breaking it, Britt becomes the vigilante The Green Hornet as he and Kato hit the streets.

Toy Story 3 Sets Pixar Record

Toy Story 3 has an estimated Weekend box office total of $109 million and that means it's a new opening weekend record for Pixar films. The previous holder was 2004's The Incredibles with $70.5 million. Also, only the third animated film to open over $100 million behind Shrek the Third with $121.6 million and Shrek 2 with $108 million.

This shows you that "threequels" are not bad at all if they are thought out and made with heart. Also, everybody still loves Woody, Buzz and the rest of the gang.

In other news Comic-book film Jonah Hex tanks at box office with just a measly $5 million. That pretty funny considering director Jimmy Hayward used to be an animator on Pixar films including Toy Story 2. At least he had a hit with Horton Hears a Who! back in 2008 with about $300 million. Maybe he should just stick to animated family films.

Win a Tour of the X-Men: First Class Set

CharityBuzz posted a new auction for a set visit on the new X-Men movie X-Men: First Class. Producer  Bryan Singer (X-Men 1& 2, Superman Returns) has donated the set tour to give a lucky fan a glimpse of how a X-Men film gets made. Also, the proceeds will go to Project Angel Food.

Some more details... Share the excitement of film making with a set visit of the next installment in the highly successful film series, X-Men to meet producer Bryan Singer. Although cast information has not been announced, the next X-Men film, X-Men:First Class, is sure to be an action packed classic. This once-in-a-lifetime experience will also give the winner a chance to meet some of the actors who may be on set that day. This set visit will take place in Fall 2010 in the United Kingdom.

Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-MEN.

Terms: To be scheduled at a mutually agreed upon time and date. To take place this Fall (2010) in the United Kingdom. Travel and accommodations are not included. Cannot be resold or re-auctioned.

I probably wouldn't pay to go because I would still have to pay hundreds of dollars for travel and accommodations, but that shouldn't stop all of you die hard fans.

The bid is currently at $550 and the next bid will have to be $650. The auction in estimated to go for $5,000.

Mega-Pr0n company Hustler is releasing a 3D-Pr0n0graphic parody of Avatar this Fall. The film will be Hustler's highest budgeted "film" to date and will be the 3rd "film" to be released by them in 3D. The film will be titled This Ain't Avatar XXX.

Hustler has been making millions from their "This Ain't" series including parodies of Star Trek, Harry Potter, Married with Children and many, many more. So, fans of Avatar wanting to see the sex scene to full extent will finally get to see this Fall in 3D too. Something tells me it's not very different from humans.

Poster for The Social Network

The first poster for David Fincher's The Social Network, starring Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake, Joe Mazzello and Rashida Jones.

The film in short is about the creation of Facebook and the sex, money, genius and betrayal of getting there. Thats actually the name of the book basically.

Eisenberg is playing Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg; Timberlake is play Napster co-founder Sean Parker, who became Facebook's president, and Garfield is playing Eduardo Saverin, the co-founder of Facebook who had a falling out with Zuckberg over money.

The movie certainly seems interesting and I will being seeing it when it comes out. Well, I would see anything David Fincher (Zodiac, Fight Club, Seven) is directing, even if he directed the phonebook.

Here is the first poster released for the upcoming film. The corner has a url in the search box that says The url takes you to the official website so you can sign up for updates on the film.

Trailer of the Week - The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

The 3rd story the successful book and film series The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Threader has finally been given a trailer. The film looks actually very good considering that Disney isn't doing the series anymore.

Edmund Pevensie and Lucy Pevensie, along with their cousin Eustace Scrubb, find themselves swallowed into a painting and on to a fantastic Narnian ship headed for the very edges of the world. Joining forces once again with their royal friend Caspian X and the warrior mouse Reepicheep, they are whisked away on a mysterious mission to the Lone Islands, and beyond. On this bewitching voyage that will test their hearts and spirits, the trio will face magical Dufflepuds, sinister slave traders, roaring dragons and enchanted merfolk. Only an entirely uncharted journey to Aslan's Country - a voyage of destiny and transformation for each of those aboard the Dawn Treader - can save Narnia, and all the astonishing creatures in it, from an unfathomable fate.

Crank creators take on Ghost Rider Sequel?

Brian Neveldine and Brian Taylor the writer/director duo of both Crank films are in talks to direct Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, which you will most likely have Nicholas Cage return as Johnny Blaze. The story was created by David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight, Blade: Trinity) and is an update of his script from the 90's.

Columbia will have to hurry up on pre-production and get start shooting by fall so they don't lose the rights to Marvel/Disney. And Nic Cage will have a busy fall with this and National Treasure 3.

This seems like a pretty good Idea and we might just have some over the top violence we need done in the series.

What do you guys think? Should they direct? should Cage return? should they even have sequel?

Killzone 3 Box Art

Guerilla Game have just released the Killzone 3 box art and I think it is different, but still pretty cool looking.  The crimson glowing eyes of the Helghast really stand out in this Arctic enviroment.

My only problem with the cover art is that there are too many logo's.  One or two would be fine, three is pushing it and four is way too much.  I do think that the Playstation Move section is fitting and looks good next to the "Only On Playstation" section.

Since I'm a huge fan of K2, I'm really excited about Killzone 3.  I can't wait until next February just to play it.

Playstation Plus Details

Looks like the rumors were true and Sony will be offering a premium subscription plan for the Playstation Network.  This "premium" service will not replace the already free service, but give subscribers an enhanced experience that will include exclusive content such as demos, themes, multiplayer content, and free Playstation Network games for only $49.99 a year.

Jack Tretton also announced that there will be a 3 month subscription for only $17.99.  That's pretty good considering that subscribers are said to get "hundreds of dollars" in free content and discounts on the Playstation Store.

Tretton said that the first three months of the service will come free for a limited time to all subscribers.

Live Action Blue Beetle Test Images

Images of the special effects test for the live-action Blue Beetle have been released on the official blog of DC Comic's Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns.

He posted the note and images below earlier tonight

"I feel very fortunate to have been a part of Blue Beetle’s introduction way back in INFINITE CRISIS. I’ve said it before, but thanks to the BLUE BEETLE series launched by Keith Giffen and John Rogers with a great design by Cully Hamner, Jaime Reyes rocks. Great character, great story, great look. He’s already appeared in animation, had action figures and right now he’s on my computer in live-action glory. I have an early special effects test that has been floating around of what his armored scarab-suit could look like. This isn’t final. This isn’t greenlit. It’s only a test that was done. We still have a long way to go to see if we can get this off the ground and a lot of people to jump on board…but check out some stills."

They remind me a little of my childhood with Power Rangers and Beetle Borgs, but I am fine with that.

He also stated that they will premiere the footage in full at Comic-Con later next month.

Robert Rodriguez Directing Deadpool?

There is some unconfirmed reports that 20 Century Fox has sent an offer to Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, El Mariachi Trilogy) to direct Deadpool the spinoff of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. This doesn't mean that he will be up to taking the job as director because he has a full plate of pics to get started on in the near future. He is attached to Sin City 2, The Jetsons, Barbarella, Madman, Red Sonja, Spy Kids and maybe more. The man basically just attaches himself to almost every movie in production for reasons unknown.

I will admit it would be awesome if he directed it because I know he would get away from the ignored character in Wolverine and go for the witty french assassin he is in the comics. Also, they will most likely keep Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, which isn't bad.

Any Thoughts? Should Rodriguez direct it? Should Reynolds return?

First Image From Real Steel

USA Today has released a image giving you a glimpse into the world of Real Steel. The film is a boxing drama set in the future where 2,000 pound robots box. I will admit that it sounds cool and super cheesy at the same time. I just can't wait to see the first trailer for it to get a good look at it because even though people say a picture is worth a thousand words, this picture is mostly giving me a negative vocabulary checklist. I know that it was made literally today, but try a little harder. Just look at the pic.

I first looked at it and instantly thought that Hugh Jackman was in Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots: The Movie. That sound awesome right?

(PIC) Hugh Jackman instructs a Samurai-inspired robot named "Noisy Boy." Many of the robots in the film will be depicted with motion-capture technology, although 19 animatronic doubles were created as well and will be used in filming. Cameras started rolling today. What do you think about it?

Reel Steal is set to get released on November 18, 2011.

The New Xbox 360 In Detail

It looks like the rumors are true, there is a new Xbox 360 and might I say, It has Playstation 3 written all over it.  The new 250GB Xbox 360 is much smaller and sleeker than the previous model with a black look and glossy finish, which is also equipped with built in 802.11n Wi-Fi.  This smaller model is said to have one large fan instead of two small fans for quieter operation.

Here is a list of all the specs of the new system:

  • Touch Sensitive Buttons - turn the Xbox 360 on or off and eject a disc with the swipe of a finger
  • Whisper Quiet - Whether you're playing a DVD disc or from the hard drive or navigating the dashboard, with the all-new and much quieter Xbox 360, the only noise you'll hear is your own laughing, cheering and playing
  • Wi-Fi - Built-in 802.11n Wi-Fi for fast, easy connection to your friends and entertainment on Xbox LIVE.
  • Hard Drive - 250GB internal, swappable hard drive for even more storage. To access, remove the bottom panel by pushing the small tab toward the front of the console.
  • Kinect-ready - Custom Kinect port on the back of the console that directly hooks up to the Kinect sensor for controller-free fun.
  • USB Slots - Five USB ports, three in the back and two in the front.
  • Power Supply - Smaller and more efficient. Xbox 360 250GB and Xbox 360 Original power supplies are not interchangeable.
  • Wireless Controller - The award-winning Xbox 360 Wireless Controller matches the console in all black with color-matched thumbsticks and directional pad with a touch of gloss and chrome to complete the look.
  • Backward Compatible - Your favorite accessories and games will work with Xbox 360 250GB. Xbox 360 external hard drives and Memory Units are not compatible.

The Xbox 360 will be priced the same as the current 360 at $300 and is already being shipped to retailers today. Here are some detailed pictures you can check out to give you satisfaction.

Now here is what I think.  Microsoft was clearly aiming for a more PS3 like Xbox.  Even this was said by a Microsoft rep., "as quiet as a PS3" when describing Whisper Quiet. I think this is a total rip-off of the original Playstation 3 and here is my reasons why:
  • The piano black and glossy look is almost identical to the Playstation 3
  • The touch sensitive buttons are also straight from the PS3
  • The built-in wi-fi, but that had to come sooner or later
  • Even the HDD slot is practically identical
But they just can't quite get the blu-ray drive down yet, but I'm sure one day they'll just take a PS3 and write their logo on it.

I'll keep you updated on all news E3.  Seeya then.

500GB PS3 with Faster Wi-Fi and The Move

According to game site CVG, Sony will be releasing two new PS3 bundles that will both include a Playstation Move motion controllers and one will have a massive 500GB HDD.

Sony revealed earlier this year that they would be releasing a Move bundle which include a 250 GB hard drive and the Move itself.  What they didn't say was that they were releasing a 500GB.

That's a lot of memory that will most likely never be filled...unless Sony expects you too.

It's also said that these new PS3's will be new models containing faster 802.11n wireless for faster Wi-Fi speeds.  Earlier this year, the FCC were seen testing two new Playstation 3 models.

If the rumors are fact or fiction, I'll keep you posted.

Are the rumors true?  Is there really a new Xbox coming?  Well according to an ad on Italian website Console-Tribe, there just might be.  The ad shows this newly designed Xbox, which doesn't really seem much slimmer by the look of the button size and disc tray, but it does seem much uglier.  The ad also says that it will have built-in Wi-Fi, a 250GB harddrive, and will also be compatible with Kinect, the newly announced name for Project Natal.  The ad was pulled soon after it was launch which makes it look legit.

If this new Xbox is real then it will most likely be to cut production costs and to give it a mid-life makeover.  The new looking ventilation system looks superior to the last model in the sense that it will prevent overheating.

If this is real, then expect to see an announcement tomorrow in Microsoft's keynote at E3 2010.  Ill keep you posted on all the news form E3 and the keynote.  Seeya then.

MotorStorm Apocalyspe

Evolution Studios revealed their newest game MotorStorm Apocalypse, the fourth game in the off-road series.  Apocalypse is set in the bay area of California during what seems to be the apocalypse.

Other MotorStorm games have taken place in wild locations, while Apocalypse will be set in the city around collapsed buildings, and tremors that will buckle bridges and create rifts beneath your vehicle.

Evolution's game director Matt Southern warns that nature isn't your only enemy in the single player mode, two other groups have stayed behind, ready to aid in the destruction of The City.

The single player mode features a series of races over a number of tracks, like other racers, but in MotorStorm Apocalypse, no track is the same twice. As you race, the tracks get damaged. The ground tears open, buildings tumbles to the ground. The damage remains on the track the next time that you play it.

Multiplayer, also know as Wreckreation, will feature ranks that players can achieve by winning races and perks that can be earned as you increase in rank.  Perks allow players to modify vehicle handling, boosting, and offensive capabilities.

Here are some screens shots you can check out.
